Real Life Extension Starts In The Heart
There is no easy way to put this…America is fat, America is lazy, and America is headed for an early death. What was once a society of hard working individuals who cared about their health and well-being, have become degenerate slobs with no clue what healthy means, let alone the capacity or willpower to follow it. While this may not be true for every individual living in America, if you just took offense to this statement, then there is a good possibility that it was directly referencing you.
There is no doubt you have been told that eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, exercising, and so on, will lead to many benefits, including a healthy life extension and more energy for your daily routine. Yet, there you sit, scouring the internet for new fad diets and miracle pills that “promise” to do the impossible. Meanwhile, you have completely failed to realize that the food you have been shoving in your mouth lacks any real nutritional value beyond pure calories, and a lack of daily life extension vitamin to make up for it only adds insult to injury.
You might be feeling a little angry right now, and with good reason. That anger means two things, you feel passionate about your weight, and you realize that there is a problem. While the next stages of changing your life will require thought, research, will power, and help from loved ones, it is this moment right here that will drive all of it. That passion, that anger, when redirected, is a powerful force that can and will drive you towards a long life filled with happy, adventurous memories.
Humans do not live on this planet for long, so even a short life extension is extremely meaningful. In other words, you would not buy a car, pour sugar in its gas tank, avoid oil changes, fail to perform standard maintenance, and still expect it to last as long as a well kept vehicle. Sure, there will always be a few maintained vehicles that have life-ending failures, accidents, and the occasional lemon that always make for a great argument against spending time and money on upkeep, but on the whole, a healthy car runs far longer than an abused one.

Mankind has always wanted to figure out a way to increase lifespan. Much expenditure has been put forth in research for life extension. Most people would like to live longer than they currently are, and they would like to also be healthier during those years. In the Bible there are stories which seem to indicate that people lived 600 or more years. Those are incredible numbers, and you can just imagine how much you could get done in a longer lifespan.
Life Extension is an interesting concept, I’d like to live for thousands of years, there are lots of things I’d like to do; the life experience is worthy. Not long ago, an acquaintance mentioned a book written by the famous science fiction author Robert Heinlein. Robert Heinlein was a great author, one of my favorites, and I also like Clarke, Bova, and Asimov too. Indeed, all of these authors have made mention of future humans with extra long life spans.
Indeed, there is a lot of work being done in the private sector on life extension and several experts on the topic. For instance, on Aubrey de Gray, who is a frequent guest at the TED conferences and seminars has been studying and discussing life extension for many decades now. Likewise, Ray Kurzweil has also studied, and experimented with ways to increase lifespan, you might wish to look up some of his work online.
Since it appears that we should be able to slightly tweak our DNA and increase our life spans, there is no doubt that within the next 25 to 50 years we will have figured it out and people will be able to live almost as long as they want to. Indeed, I hope you will please consider this.
